Despite so many bad reviews I’ve read on Trustpilot, I decided to give it a shot for the sake of this review and report back to you guys.

What Is Social Boost?
Social Boost is an Instagram growth service that claims to provide organic growth.
Here’s what they state on their site, and I quote: “Grow your Instagram with real, targeted followers.”
But that’s not all. They also claim how your account will be managed by a real account manager aka human.
However, speaking from my experience, I can tell you that’s not true. Soon after I started using their services, my account got action-blocked, which was the first red flag.
Also, all of the reviews I found on their website seem very fake. And don’t forget that truth usually lies in 1-star reviews – which aren’t many – since Social Boost management reported almost all of them.
The ones I did manage to dig on Trustpilot are honestly brutal. People are very disappointed, and many of them say they either got blocked, locked out of their accounts, or weren’t receiving the services they paid for.
Oh, and one last thing – the website of the service I’m reviewing today is social-boost.co. I needed to make that clear before I continue because there are a lot of similar services with almost exactly the same logo as this one.

How Social Boost Works
As I already mentioned, Social Boost claims that the real person is behind all of the operations, not a bot. Allegedly, all of the employees have iPhones from which they manually manage your account.
I found that hard to be true because there’s no way a few employees can manage dozens of accounts per day.
Also, the amount of fake accounts the service brings and the fact that many customers got suspended or banned only means that they’re using a bot.
They also have Proxies and offer their VPN so you can stay under Instagram’s smart radar. Well, apparently, that’s not good enough.
But that’s not all.
Social Boost says how the real person will analyze and calculate your progress at the end of each week so that they can point your account in the right direction.
Now, I’m not saying they’re lying, but I just don’t buy it.
Features of Social Boost
Social Boost offers a few pretty basic features for Gram, nothing out of the ordinary. Here they are:
Follow/Unfollow Feature
This is the main feature of Social Boost. They say how their staff that manages accounts will follow people, based on your targeting options, of course.
The principle is nothing new – they follow certain people in hopes they will follow you back. If they don’t, though, the service will unfollow them in a matter of days. That’s all there is to it.
However, based on many testimonials I found online, their strategy seems to be utterly unsafe. Their approach is too aggressive, and Instagram doesn’t like that.
Targeting Options
Social Boost claims they provide advanced targeting options to bring you the audience interested in what you have to say.
They are targeting based on two things:
- Location
- Gender
That’s it. I mean, there’s also that claim about manual targeting, which I’m not sure is real.
Be that as it may, I haven’t noticed anything special nor advanced about their targeting. All they got me was fake engagement and an action-block. Bot alert.
Customer Support
They claim their customer support is available 24/7 – which is true. Unfortunately, they’re not much of a help either way.
Pricing of Social Boost
As you can see, Social Boost offers three packages – Personal, Influencer, and Turbocharger. Their most affordable plan comes at $59 per month, and the priciest one costs $249 per month.
That’s quite expensive for a few basic options that don’t seem to work at all.
As for free trial – there isn’t one. They say that’s because they don’t use bots; therefore, their prices are a lot higher, so they can’t offer you a free trial.
This doesn’t make any sense to me, but that’s the deal.
Also, it is possible to get a refund, but not everyone is that lucky. Some people got their money back after they canceled their subscriptions, and others were left with no money and no service.
It’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get your money back, I’d say.
Is Social Boost Safe, Legit, Or A Scam?
IMO, they’re leading a shady business according to so many users – including myself.
They don’t offer you a test run before you purchase a plan, and they bring fake engagement, which indicates they’re not honest with their customers about their strategy.
And if you’re not satisfied – well, sit back and hope for a refund, which may never come.
In addition, the fact that this service got so many people into trouble only means they’re not safe to use.
All in all, I think I have a right to say they’re downright scammers. I rest my case.
Top Social Boost Alternatives
If you still want to try Social Boost despite all the red flags – go ahead, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
However, if you’re determined to grow your Insta the right way, try using an organic service. There are much safer and cheaper options, like the ones I listed below.

All in all, I would advise you to avoid this service altogether. The cons simply outweigh the pros, and there’s just too much at stake (read: losing your account and money).
Fret not, because there are many reliable services that will provide you with real organic growth. A lot of them are not expensive, and truth be told – they won’t take you for granted.
