Instaswell Review – What Happened To It?

My Instaswell review will touch upon all of the burning questions that have been left unanswered in other Instaswell reviews, including:

  • Why were its services discontinued?
  • Should you be worried if you used Instaswell?
  • What to expect if it’s up again?
  • What features did it have?
  • Are there any alternatives that actually work?

The crucial pieces of information are in the key points below. But do read the whole Instaswell review to get more than just the gist; it can be extremely beneficial for you (and your IG account).

Instaswell In Broad Strokes:

  • Instaswell was an Instagram bot that automated your likes, following, and views
  • As of 2019, it no longer works
  • The reason is unknown, but the app most probably violated some aspects of Instagram’s guidelines
  • A safe Instagram automation tool that won’t put your account at risk is Kenji. Even better are tools with organic growing methods, such as Nitreo and Upleap.

What is Instaswell?

A screenshot of Instaswell’s website

Kinda sad, huh? This in-memoriam kind of picture you can find on Instaswell’s website may evoke nostalgia. But not necessarily for the tool itself.

I, personally, haven’t tried Instaswell out, and therefore I can’t say for sure whether it was good. There are mixed Instaswell reviews on the Internet. It seems that it was solid, but that it had certain flaws.

What I meant by nostalgia is the time when Instagram’s algorithm used to be more lenient and forgiving.

Now, don’t get me wrong – I’m strongly against bots that spam other accounts, can’t target your audience, and post a string of emojis wherever and whenever they can. But those that automate your actions in a natural way – why not?

Be as it may, Instaswell is no more. It was launched in late 2009 – around the same time as Instagram itself – so it was amongst the veterans in Instagram bots. And just when it was supposed to celebrate its 10th-year anniversary in 2019, it was axed.

Can we expect it to come back since the domain is still up? Maybe, if they manage to find a way to go about Instagram’s bot detector. In that case, come back to this Instaswell review to see what to expect and check out the newest updates!

Does Instaswell Work?

Needless to say, Instaswell doesn’t work anymore. I’ve explained in detail why it is no longer active and whether there’s a chance it will work again.

If you wanted to use it back in the day, all you had to do was sign up for a free trial. When the free period ended, you could purchase one of their packages and start the whole automation process.

Instaswell Features

Here are the features that Instaswell offered.

Automated Activity

Instaswell could automate the following tasks for you:

  • Follow and unfollow
  • Like
  • View

It provided the basic automated tasks that pretty much any IG bot can do. There were no possibilities for automatic comments or DMs. That said, at first, its automation worked flawlessly.

However, the challenge of automating Instagram actions was made apparent with the cancelation of Instaswell and many similar bots.

Its reputation crumbled because it performed more actions than it was allowed by Instagram on a daily basis. In other words, it became spammy.

Audience Targeting

To narrow down the interaction to your niche, Instaswell allowed you to enter two kinds of parameters:

  • Hashtag (this filter can be useful if you’re well-aware of the trends going on within your specific niche or if you use the most popular ones)
  • Account (if you selected famous users from your area of interest, the tool could interact with them and with their followers because they’ll most likely be interested in what you have to offer, too).

Pricing of Instaswell

Instaswell was a budget-friendly service, especially compared to some other services nowadays. Here are the pricing packages it offered:

Former pricing plans of Instaswell on a picture

And they had quite funny names, don’t you think?

In any case, there was a free package, nicknamed Breeze, that could perform 20 likes and follows per day and as many as 50,000 views. I can imagine this would be very useful for performers who post their videos on Instagram.

The Green Wave was 10 bucks a month. IMO, it was the most balanced package, providing 100 likes and follows and 200,000 views per day.

Storm and Tsunami could get you in trouble, though, as they were a bit aggressive, with 200 and 300 actions a day, respectively. It seems that they were the catastrophes that led to Instaswell’s downfall.

Is Instaswell Legit?

There was a period when Instaswell was a legit and ambitious Instagram growth tool.

However, as Instagram went on to become more and more strict with Instagram bots, Instaswell suffered vulnerabilities, impacting all of their users.

It seems that from 2017 it couldn’t completely recover from the blow and that its features gradually deteriorated. And so, it couldn’t go on with its service.

In 2019, it was announced that users would no longer be able to automate their actions with Instaswell.

Best Instaswell Alternatives

There’s a possibility that Instaswell will be resurrected, but it’s uncertain. You should concentrate on a better and more stable Instaswell alternative.

In the competitive Instagram growth market, there are many tools worth your time. In an attempt to help you with the decision-making process, here’s a list of the most popular ones.

Instaswell Advantages And Disadvantages

Everything I’ve said about Instaswell can be summed up under a list of pros and cons:

PROSCONS
User-friendly interfaceDoesn’t work anymore
Cheap tariff plansStorm and Tsunami pricing packages were too aggressive
They didn’t have an FAQ page
The website wasn’t secure for some time
Bot actions were detected by Instagram
Sometimes, it interacted with fake accounts

Instaswell: Gone for Good?

It seems so.

I think that the downfall of Instaswell can be attributed to being easily detectable by Instagram’s bot radar.

They did try lowering prices, coming up with new solutions, and so on, but eventually, they had to pull the plug on it.

No worries – if you were an Instaswell fan, there are plenty of other Instagram bots that are still able to bypass Instagram’s algorithm.

Still, there’s always a speck of doubt that Instagram will be able to trace them, too, enforce more strict rules, and… Who can guarantee you that your bot of choice will be unscathed?

That’s why I recommend a safe strategy – organic growth tools that interact with real accounts.
