Like4Like Review – My Honest Opinion

  • Post author:

When someone asked me not that long ago what do I think about Instagram likes/followers services, I said that my honest opinion is that more companies need to get on the “free sample” train.

This is due to an easy and almost free boosting of their products and promotion of quality of their service. I seriously think this is perhaps the best way to spread the good word about your company’s services.

Like4Like took that to a whole nother level offering you an option of literally exchanging a like for a like. This does not sound like a bad idea if you have some spare time on your hands and don’t feel like spending a lot of money on some Instagram likes.

For people who are new to Instagram reach expansion and using social media to target a specific audience, this can be a perfect mix of free and relatively easy to use service.

If you’re keen on informing yourself more on this topic, keep scrolling and take a look at my opinions as I dig down and take apart this free service!

If what Like4Like offers is not your cup of tea, I recommend a company that for a fairly cheap price offers you a fantastic service. Without a question a company that fits this description is Upleap. If you’re interested in finding out more about this, you can always check my Upleap review.

What Is Like4Like? – Diving In

In order to use an app or a service and to be completely relaxed while doing it, you need to understand the basics of it and get to know the basis on which they operate.

Like4Like is not a product that you buy as a one-time thing and forget about it. It requires a constant engagement with the app in order to get your free likes.

This can be exhausting from time to time – for example when you want to pump likes into a new post you’ve just made public and you realize you haven’t engaged in enough liking to reach the desired liking goal for your own post.

I know this sounds like a one-in-a-million situation but trust me, it happens much more often than you’d think.

To be honest, this concept seemed shady to me at first, because I found a few holes in this kind of service. Here are just a few that I noticed right off the bat:

  • How does this make sense moneywise?
  • Who spends money on a service that doesn’t bring income?
  • How does a free service customer support work?
  • Is it worth the time-to-likes ratio?

It’s impossible to answer all of those questions in one sentence so be patient and let’s get right into answering all of these.

First of all, the money logic behind this website can be explained by the ads that you’re met with the second you connect to their website. The only problem is that I haven’t run into any ads there. This might be due to some sort of adblocker my browser has, but even when I tried disabling it, the ads were still absent.

The thing that confused me the most is the fact that without any visible income to the service and the company behind it is that you can’t find a good customer support service. In this case, it proved to be true if you go by some experiences I’ve come across online. Here’s an example:

If this is something that should be taken into consideration, you shouldn’t trust a free service website’s customer support.

This only further backs up my claim that customer support can’t be amazing on these types of websites.

How Does Like4Like Work? – Ins & Outs

A website that promises you free stuff almost always expects something in return. On the Like4Like website, this is pretty clear from the getgo because the service itself is based on you helping other people so other people can help you.

You need to make an account, download the app available for Windows, macOS, or Android, or get the Chrome extension on your web browser. After you do this, you’ll be obligated to like other people’s posts on Instagram in order to receive credits. These credits are further used to boost your own posts on Instagram.

In order for this to happen, you’ll need to link your Instagram page to your Like4Like account so the likes can be transferred. You need to choose a post you want the likes to go to and wait for them to arrive. They start flowing in gradually, but if you are patient enough you’ll see all of the promised likes.

This can be a good thing if you want to monitor the likes and take note of people who actually like your picture. I agree instant likes would be better, but this can have a good side as well.

Is It Actually Good?

Well, if I had to answer this question in one word, I’d say yes.

This is not because it’s impeccable, but because it’s free and relatively easy to use. The biggest downside to this is you can’t engage a larger audience that you want to engage in order to boost your overall popularity on Instagram.

This can only be achieved by building a follower base that’s regularly checking out what you’re posting and engaging in what you have to say. By getting a few hundred free likes on your post is not a way to go if you want to build a fanbase or to sell a specific product over your Instagram page.

The good thing is that the likes are free, unlike on other websites where you pay for likes (maybe in larger quantities) but don’t engage the targeted audience when talking about long-term engagement.

Needless to say, this is a fantastic starting tool for someone who is looking to “mini boost” their profile with no cost. On the other hand, it’s almost useless for people who are looking to engage a larger audience and that already have a few thousand likes on each and every picture they post.

So the answer to the question “is Like4Like actually good” is much more complicated than you thought it was. It all depends on the reference point and the angle you look at it from.
If you’re a small influencer looking to boost a few pics, it’s fantastic. If you’re an already established Instagram personality with a big enough reach and a good following, it’s virtually useless to use Like4Like. Take a look at what a person that used this service has to say on Trustpilot:

Free Instagram likes are a fantastic thing in the beginning, but be prepared to spend some money later on in order to acquire a significant follower count. Keep that in mind when it’s time to make a decision on if you’re gonna use this kind of service or not.

Like4Like Review – Final Thoughts

To sum up my thoughts on this service, let’s take a look at a pros & cons list I’ve made to make it easier for me to make a decision:

PROSCONS
One of the first Instagram servicesClunky
Required an Instagram password
Expensive
Endangered their users
Frequently violated Instagram terms and services

Keep in mind that this is not purely personal, but based on other people’s experience with this service.

My honest opinion is really based on your personal Instagram profile at the moment. If you decide to use this service to boost a few of your important posts on your page, it’s perfectly valid to do this. It helps you grow faster and subconsciously influence people that stumble upon your profile to think you have a bigger reach.

At the other end of the spectrum are people who don’t need this kind of service. Sadly, these people don’t have a good reason to use any service that even resembles this one. Nobody who has a reach of over a few thousand people and a few thousand likes on every post can’t make a good case for using this app.

So I suggest you take a moment, take a look at your Instagram page, and calculate if it’s worth it or not for you to spend your time to get a few hundred likes on your posts. I hope you make a good decision and enjoy your free likes!
