Poprey Reviews – Is It Safe For Your Instagram Account?

  • Post author:

To reach Insta stardom, you need an excellent strategy, one that is perhaps too difficult to come up with by yourself.

This is where Instagram growth services come in.

If you find a high-quality service, nothing is out of reach as far as Instagram goes. However, that’s a huge IF.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but most Instagram tools and services on the market are utter scams.

I’ve had my fair share of such services, so I know how to tell if they are trustworthy or not.

The most recent service that grabbed my attention was Poprey. I searched for unbiased Poprey reviews with no luck, so I decided to write one myself, and here it is!

How does Poprey rate on a scale from total scam to reliable service? Time to find out.

In my never-ending search for the best Instagram growth service, I found a handful of those that are worthwhile. One of them is Upleap. I even did a piece on how helpful Upleap is – you can peruse it here

Also, check out the list below for the other few great choices – each of them is an excellent Poprey alternative.

Poprey – A recap

For all those short on time, here’s a rundown of the service Poprey offers.

PROSCONS

Instagram deletes the followers gained through Poprey.
Your account is not safe.
They try to hack their customers.
Customer service is rude and inappropriate.
They don’t give refunds.
They ask for your Instagram password.

What is Poprey?

Poprey is one of those services that offer features for multiple social media platforms, including:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Youtube
  • Spotify
  • TikTok

I’ll mostly talk about the Instagram features as it is my main focus.

Poprey’s Instagram service involves followers, likes, comments, auto-likes, and views.

You can’t find out much about the company on their website. As soon as you go to poprey.com – their official site – it looks like this:

Right off the bat, you’re greeted with packages for Instagram likes.

Their FAQ page doesn’t talk about the company or their ways of operating either.

So, how can we know what Poprey is really like?

Thankfully, ex-customers reviews are there to enlighten us!
Poprey’s Trustpilot page is an interesting one. The company has a low rating of 2.5 stars. There are a few glowing reviews, but they don’t seem legit, TBH.

This positive review looks real at first glance, but then you read the rest and figure out this one is probably fake.

For example, here’s one rather unsatisfied customer and his horrible experience with Poprey:

After reading all the Poprey reviews, I felt reluctant to test it out, especially after this one review where a former customer claims Poprey tried to hack their email:

This is a pretty serious accusation. However, I have no reason to doubt this claim, as 90% of reviews talk about Poprey with a negative sentiment.

To top it all off, Poprey requires your Instagram password. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to hack your Instagram account.

No respected Instagram growth service should ask for your password. There’s no point cause all they need to deliver the followers is your username (unless there’s something shady going on).

All this posed a serious question – Is Poprey legit?

And the answer is leaning towards no.

Poprey features

I want to tell you more about Poprey’s features, so you know what are the red flags with this type of service.

Instagram followers

Poprey’s tariff plans for Instagram followers.

I can tell you one thing for sure – Poprey’s followers are among the cheapest on the market. Is that a good thing, though?

Well, no. High-quality followers don’t have to be expensive, and in many cases of high-end prices, you’re paying for the brand rather than the followers.

However, authentic followers don’t cost next to nothing.

I reckon Poprey uses low prices to lure in customers and later trick them with phony followers. There’s no way 10,000 REAL followers can go for only 67 USD.

This one (although there are many more) customer review backs up my claim:

As it turns out, Instagram is deleting the followers bought from Poprey. There is only one reason why Instagram removes followers, and that is if they’re fake accounts, i.e., bots.

There is a chance to get 10 followers for free, but I don’t see how you can benefit from this.

Instagram Likes

Poprey’s packaged for Instagram likes.

Poprey sells up to 20,000 likes, again, for a super affordable price.

They don’t tell anything about where the likes come from, whether you can split them or not, and so on.

Their clients, however, have a lot to say about likes:

Based on the reviews, Poprey either doesn’t deliver the likes at all, or they come in a smaller number than the one you paid for.

There is an option to test the likes. You can get 25 of them for free, but this requires you to give them your Instagram password, which I would never do if I were you.

The rest

I don’t want to bother you too much with Poprey’s auto-likes, views, and comments. Very few reviewers talk about these features, and from what I can tell from Poprey’s website (which isn’t a lot), they are pretty basic.

Other social media platforms

Poprey has services dedicated to Facebook, Youtube, TikTok, and Spotify. They offer views, likes, and followers for each of the platforms.

Similar to the Instagram views and comments, these don’t seem to be particularly helpful. The lack of reviews tells us enough.

Poprey used to have another feature called Poprey hashtags. It was supposed to find optimal Instagram hashtags based on the keywords of your choice.

This was a huge failure as the tool never worked, so I guess it doesn’t really matter it’s gone.

Customer support

This is probably where Poprey fails the most.

The way a company treats the customers is a deal-breaker for me, and once I read how Poprey behaves towards their clients, I was done with this service for good.

This comment shocked me to the core:

Not only do they scam people, but they also dare to insult them. And this is not the only case. Countless customers reported how rude customer support at Poprey is. Some call it “the ultimate level of unprofessionalism,” and I couldn’t agree more.

How safe is Poprey?

It’s safe to say Poprey is NOT SAFE AT ALL.

As I dug deeper on the Internet for Poprey reviews, bad things just continued to pile on. By the end, it was impossible finding a single good thing about Poprey.

And I’m not exaggerating – you can see it for yourself with one Google search. No need to waste your time, though. This customer testimony says it all:

A screenshot of a negative Poprey review on Trustpilot.

Poprey is the perfect example of a scam. They take your money, put your account in danger, refuse to issue refunds, and blatantly insult you.

Speaking of refunds, they openly refuse to give you one if “you’re ordering from several services.”

As for other cases, you technically can ask for your money back, but it’s a lost cause.

And let’s not forget how they try to hack their customers. Be it your email or your Insta account, Poprey shamelessly attempts to hack it. This is the only possible reason why they’d ask for your Instagram password in the first place.

Final words on Poprey

In most of my reviews of Instagram services, I usually find something nice to say about each of them. This isn’t the case with Poprey.

It goes without saying that Poprey should be avoided at all costs.

The company fails in all aspects, from the quality of followers and safety of your account to appropriate customer service.

I’m not even going to address the hacking attempts again.

I know it can be easy to fall for a scam like Poprey, so kudos to you for doing the important research!
