Instagram is not only for posting cute selfies or pictures of your dog – no, sir. Well, it can be, but it’s also so much more.
For business owners or influencers, Instagram is the number one place where they can promote themselves and attract a valuable audience.
With the countless opportunities that Instagram offers, it’d be a shame not to use the most of it. And how do you do that?
With the help of Instagram growth services!
As you can tell from the title, this article is gonna be all about one service – SocialMeep.
Will this tool help you, or is it just another hoax?
Dig into our SocialMeep review to find out!
What Is SocialMeep?
SocialMeep claims to be the best Instagram growth tool for automated, real-time, organic growth. A bold claim, indeed.
When you visit their site, the words above are the first thing you see, and they are the very first thing that made us feel skeptical.
See how they put the words automated and organic in the same sentence?
Well, those two should (almost) never go together. When it comes to organic growth (which is, by the way, what you want), it’s all about the human factor.
Now, don’t get us wrong, there are a few automated tools that actually provide organic growth, but they are rare, and they are powered by advanced AI technology. Is SocialMeep one of these services?
We seriously doubt it.
When you take a look at SocialMeep’s website, it doesn’t look so bad.
But it somehow looks chaotic, and many of the clickable links don’t do anything. All you can actually access on the site is the home page and three more pages – Pricing, Blog, and Auto Growth.
We know what you’re thinking – this sounds a bit shady, and we agree.
That’s why we decided to find out how legit this company is, and the first step was finding their profile on Crunchbase.
In case you’re not familiar with it, Crunchbase is a platform where you can find business info about private and public firms.
By doing extensive research, we found out a shocking truth – SocialMeep’s info on Crunchbase is fake.
To be honest, we didn’t expect this from someone who claims to be a completely legitimate company.
So, yeah, this was hugely disappointing. And it tells you more than you need to know about SocialMeep.
How Can SocialMeep Benefit You?
Oh, this one’s a doozy.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but we’re not convinced SocialMeep will help you. They’ll do some stuff, that’s for sure, but help you – we don’t think they will.
The number one thing we expect from an Instagram growth service is organic growth. We can’t stress enough how important it is for it to be organic, i.e., involve a real human.
By achieving the opposite(automatic growth), you could get in trouble with Instagram. And we’re talking about serious trouble, like a block or a ban. That’s certainly the last thing you need.
SocialMeep so boldly claims to provide the best service and only organic growth, but how much of it is true? Is it all just pure baloney?
This is a hard question, and here’s why.
SocialMeep is really mysterious about their practices – nowhere do they clearly state how they grow your account.
Nothing screams red flag like shadiness.
Their website is filled with exciting promises, but those are just a clever ruse to distract you from questioning how they perform.
In short – the site tells so much without saying anything at all.
Nevertheless, we tried hard to find out all about their features, and you can check them out below.
Auto Growth
This feature is the staple of SocialMeep.
According to the company, they are powered by (you’ve guessed it) advanced AI. The automatic growth feature is all about targeted engagement that will, supposedly, get you only real followers.
Once you set up the targeting filters (more on this soon), you just sit back and watch the tool in action.
It automatically likes posts and comments and views stories from other accounts. These are the actions SocialMeep refers to as micro-interactions. It sure sounds fancy, but it doesn’t really mean anything.
All in all, this feature is really bot-like. Now, we’re not claiming this tool’s a bot, but it sure seems like it.
Targeting
This one’s kind of confusing, but we managed to figure it out (sort of). This is what we got from their website:
They, of course, proudly claim to use AI targeting for ultimate results. This is something you’ll often hear about – Instagram bots in disguise, saying they only use advanced technologies.
So, what’s the truth about targeting?
SocialMeep has both automatic and manual targeting. There wasn’t much (or anything) about the automatic, but the manual one is somewhat explained.
How does it work?
Manual targeting involves targeting by hashtags, geotags, competitors’ IG handles, age, and gender.
But does it work, though?
We honestly don’t know. No matter how hard we tried, finding any users’ reviews regarding SocialMeep’s targeting abilities was impossible. So this one remains a mystery.
Pricing
SocialMeep is somewhere in the mid-price range. The cheapest plan costs $49.
And the most expensive one is $69.
Is it the most expensive? No.
But is it worth it? Also no.
For the same amount, you can get real organic growth from a legitimate company.
Is SocialMeep Worth It?
Let’s list out the pros and cons to give you a clearer picture of everything we mentioned so far to see if this tool’s worth it.
Why don’t we start with the advantages:
Secure website
You don’t have to worry about this one – their site is safe. Other than it actually being a copy of a few other sites, there’s no reason to question it.
What’s more, they don’t ask for your Instagram password, which we really appreciate.
Well, this was short.
Now let’s move on to the bad stuff:
Fake Crunchbase
We still can’t wrap our heads around the fact SocialMeep’s info on the prominent site for businesses is fake. This a red light, and it’s a real sign you shouldn’t trust them.
No Reviews
This one’s plain weird.
It’s not often that we cannot find a single review by current or previous users of the service.
And those splendid reviews on SocialMeep’s website don’t really count. We’re talking about genuine reviews on other sites.
Well, there was one review on a couple of sites, but it was way too good to be true. Plus, it’s almost identical on every site, indicating it’s likely fake.
Possible Bot Action
SocialMeep’s claim to use only AI tech to provide organic growth is, at the very least, absurd. Unfortunately, there’s a huge chance we’re talking about a bot, and that adds up to no good.
Conclusion
You’ve probably figured out by now that we’re not confident this tool’s legit, and that’s why we can’t recommend it.
There are just too many red flags – from the possibility of it being a bot to their fake information on Crunchbase (and a few more).
The way they try to trick inexperienced users with their flashy website full of exciting promises is, you’ll agree, shady. We’re more than certain it’s a tactic they use to suck in the gullible and take their money.
But don’t despair!
There are plenty of trustworthy companies that will do their best to help you achieve organic growth – all you gotta do is find them!
