Given my experience with growing a following on Instagram, I was puzzled by Stim Instagram. I wondered how it could improve my account, so I decided to give it a go.
It offers services for Instagram and TikTok, but I only tested their Instagram features.
Stim Social was not like any other Instagram growth tool I have used ever before. Spoiler alert: not in a good way.

What is Stim Social?
Stim Social – or Stimsocial or Stim Instagram, I have seen all three names – is a social media automation tool. They offer Instagram and TikTok services.
Its claims are pretty standard. It is software that should automate actions such as liking, following, etc., on your social media in order to improve your engagement.
The reason I mentioned that Stim Social is unlike any other service is that most of what I am going to share with you is really hard to find (unless you test out the service for yourself).
And whenever an official site is not transparent with the most important info like pricing or what services they provide, you just know that something shady is going on.
It didn’t take me long to observe what it was that they were trying to hide. Stimsocial is a service faulty on so many levels.
How Stim Social Works?
We’ve established that you cannot find any crucial information on the Stim Social official website, and neither could I.
Had I not tested their service, I would’ve been in the dark the same way you have when you scrolled through their website.
This is how Stim Social is supposed to work: you provide your target audience, and then the software finds users who match what you have provided. Then, it interacts with them through liking, commenting, and following, and the users are supposed to follow you back.
As I said, this is how it is supposed to work, but it is not the reality. Unfortunately – may I add – because it sounds like it would have been useful had it functioned properly.
You cannot browse Instagram while the software is working in the background, or you will get blocked out of your account. Pretty inconvenient, huh?
That said, using it for more than 8 hours will definitely get you suspended.
The tools Stim social uses are inevitably detected by the Instagram algorithm, and your account gets either banned, blocked, or deactivated.
Features of Stim Social
The features are yet another question about Stim Social to remain unanswered after you have visited their website.
I will do my best to explain to you what tools or features you can expect from Stim Social Instagram. TikTok features are not something I have tried out, so my apologies if that’s your field of interest.
Automated Instagram Tasks
Among automated Instagram tasks, Stim Social offers:
- Auto Like
- Auto View Story
- Auto Follow
Instagram features are scant. Some other Instagram bots that I have tried out so far offered many more features, to be honest.
The silver lining is that the Auto View Story feature works properly and safely most of the time, which is more than I can say for the other two.
At times, all three features seem to completely stop working, as the software isn’t performing any tasks at all.
Stim Social interacts with a lot of fake accounts, which is a shame given that you provide it with information about your target audience. Which brings me to the next feature:
Target Audience
When you set Stim Social up, it asks you to follow five or more accounts that fit your niche. You can also put in keywords, hashtags, and location filters that should all be used as criteria for future reference.
In my opinion, this is a useless step because the software seems to completely disregard that information and work randomly.
This is the most important feature they offer because it provides a sort of outline for all of the other automated features they offer. Without this one, the other features are completely useless – and yet, it doesn’t work.
Clean Feed
This is a feature that automatically mutes all of your new followers in order to keep your feed ‘clean.’
I reckon this is their way of hiding the fact that the software follows fake accounts or bots.
Anyone who is looking to grow a following on Instagram knows that engagement requires you to interact with your followers as well as them interacting with you.
I personally find this feature completely counterproductive.
Pricing of Stim Social
Subscriptions, payment plans, or pricing, in general, is nowhere to be found on Stim Social’s website.
It simply offers you to sign up and doesn’t require any credit card information. Make no mistake – this is not because Stim Social is free. They do offer a 5-day free trial, however.
Here is Stim Social’s mysterious pricing:
Stim Social has five licenses for you to choose from:
- Fast – performs up to 350 tasks a day, cost: $9.95 a month
- Turbo – performs up to 700 tasks a day, cost: $19.95 a month
- Extreme – not specified how many tasks, cost: $29.95 a month
- Pro – unspecified amount of tasks and auto DMs, cost: $39.95 a month
- Managed – everything in Pro and special customer support, cost: $99.95 a month
Extreme and Turbo will definitely get your account blocked once you pay for your subscription. It might not happen during the free trial period, but it is coming for sure.
I consider the Pro and Managed licenses to be quite pricey. After getting my account shadowbanned by Extreme and Turbo, I wasn’t too eager to try out the most expensive versions, especially since it is non-refundable.
Is Stim Social Safe, Legit, or a Scam?

Well, it won’t steal your info or something like that, but Stim Social website looked scammy, and it was hiding all of the important information. The Instagram algorithm detects and blocks it immediately.
I heavily base my opinion of a business on their website. If it is an honest business, you will be able to find all the information you need on there.
If I wanted to do research before purchasing a subscription, I wouldn’t be able to find any information about Stim Social besides bad reviews from previous customers.
So, I’d say that Stim Social is a scam.
As for the customer support service, they are hard to get in contact with and aren’t helpful. At times, it takes them days to get back to you. And if you raise serious questions like a refund, they will simply not respond, even if you send multiple emails.

Stim Social: Should you Use It or Not?
My final verdict is that you should not waste your money, time, or energy on Stim Social.
The best you can expect to get from this experience is up to a hundred followers. Besides paying a lot of money, your IG account might get deactivated, which results in you losing everything you’ve worked on so far.
Growing a social media following and maintaining engagement can be exhausting – I’ve been there. What leads to success is one of the growth tools that work organically and don’t violate Instagram’s Terms and Services.
