Firstly, why would you want such a tool?
The impact that social media platforms have on society is enormous. Your Instagram account can bring you the desired success, no matter whether you’re a small business or a performer.
But how do you bring followers to your account? What is more, how do you bring those who are interested in what you have to offer?
The answer is simple: with Instagram marketing tools. The right tools and strategies can make your sales and popularity surge.
So, let’s see if Path Social Instagram is one of them.
But before this, you might want to take a look at the growth tools below:

What Is Path Social?
Path Social is an Instagram growth service that focuses on growing people’s accounts organically. Or at least they insist on that on their official website.
In practice, many tools claim things that aren’t true, and I’m often left disappointed. Many try to conceal their true nature by providing fake descriptions, whereas all they do is use bot accounts.
Judging by Path Social’s official site, you would say that they are legit, and their services are extremely successful.
There’s even a page dedicated to Path Social reviews from – supposedly – their satisfied customers. When I first saw all these reviews, I thought to myself, “Great, finally a tool with legit reviews and real accounts,” but it turns out that these Instagram usernames were made up.
Still, I didn’t want to disregard this tool immediately and decided to give it a chance. After all, it’s what we do at Tool Busters – debunk IG myths.
Unfortunately, Path Social in practice and Path Social in theory are two different things. Let’s see why.
How Do You Sign Up for Path Social?
In case you want to use Path Social services, you should do the following:
- Go to their official web page and select “Get Started” in the upper right corner.
- Choose one of the two pricing plans and Click “Start Growing Today.”
- Select your preferred payment method (they offer PayPal and Credit Cards), and make a payment.
- Sign up for a Path Social account – you’ll need no more than your email, password, and Instagram username.
- Specify your Instagram goals, and Path Social will do the rest.
Main Features of Path Social Reviewed
From the vague descriptions on Path Social’s website, it’s not really clear what kind of service they are. There are just a bunch of quite boastful claims.
If you’re interested in what Path Social actually does, keep reading this section.
Targets Your Audience
Path Social promises to target your audience by using filters such as location, gender, age, and hashtags.
Of course, this would be a great strategy to convert your audience into customers, and all of these filters are relevant for finding your intended audience. They pretty much unite your potential customers and viewers.
But the problem is that Path Social does not actually make use of these filters. I didn’t notice any narrowed focus or engaging with my target audience, nor did I get them to follow my account while I was using Path Social.
If the interaction is randomized, why are they even trying to get all of that info? It’s important that you have a sense of who your target audience is, but it’s of no use if a tool doesn’t use it.
Engages With Other IG Users
Path Social’s official description does not tell you this, but they are using bot-like activities.
Besides the interaction being completely random, they sometimes overdo the whole engagement thing, which can affect your account. How?
Well, certainly not in a good way.
If they exaggerate with fake and bot accounts (which is something they seem to do quite often), your actions, such as liking, following, and commenting can get blocked.
Also, if you receive a great number of fake followers (which is another thing that occurs with Path Social), Instagram will delete them and possibly ban your account for a certain period.
The fact that they hide they are using bot practices also speaks volumes about their efficiency. They violate Instagram’s conditions, and IMO, it’s just a matter of time before they will get canceled.
Path Social Pricing
Take a look at two pricing plans that Path Social offers:
Instagram Elite is billed at $69 a month for between 2,000 and 3,500 followers. Not really cheap, if you ask me, though they try to convince you with some hard-sell tactics such as “only $2.30 per day”.
Anyhow, with the poor quality of Path Social’s services, it’s not worth it. The numbers are fake, and even if you get them, they will disappear soon after or put your account at risk, which is even worse.
An alternative is the cheaper tariff plan, Instagram Core, which costs $49 a month.
Is it a better deal?
No, not really. It can supposedly get you up to 1,500 followers (which are very low-quality, as I’ve explained), and their “Los Angeles Team & Support” is responsive only until you buy one of their packages.
Path Social Alternatives
If you’re reading about Path Social, it’s safe to say that you’re interested in developing your account organically.
Sadly, Path Social fails to do so. So, what are the alternatives?
Here are three well-rounded tools that utilize organic growth in the right way:
- KENJI. Unlike Path Social, KENJI does not hide that it is an Instagram bot. But the most prominent difference between these two tools is that KENJI is perfectly safe for your account and actually uses targeted engagement.
- Upleap. I’ve chosen Upleap for its incredible user-friendliness and fast results. It interacts with real accounts that you marked as your intended audience.
- Nitreo. This is one of the most efficient growth services if you want to connect to the accounts from your niche.
Is Path Social Legit?
The Path Social payment gateway is legit and verified, but just because they don’t steal your money straight away, it doesn’t mean they are legit.
In fact, the way in which they scam you is hidden. They make you buy their services with alluring descriptions such as “organic growth,” when in reality, none of this is true.
There’s no live support, and the whole company seems a bit shady. The lack of genuine Path Social reviews on the Internet is not helping, either.
The final verdict? Path Social isn’t legit.
Path Social Review – To Sum It Up
While Path Social may get you a couple of followers here and there, it looks like a scam. The followers will eventually disappear, and you’ll be back to start.
You should focus on growth, and that’s true. But Instagram marketing isn’t all about growing your numbers. You can have thousands of followers that aren’t genuinely interested in your niche.
That’s why it’s important to grow your account organically and bring a well-targeted audience. Only then will you keep your momentum and achieve a steady increase across all numbers.
