What Is Fuelgram?

A screenshot of Fuelgram’s former homepage

Before I tell you more about Fuelgram, I first have to touch upon this:

Fuelgram doesn’t work anymore.

What brought Fuelgram down is still unknown. You can visit their website, but you won’t find much there.

Just a message to past users that they can ask for a refund. How nice of them.

Now that that’s out of the way, back to the main question: What is, or was, Fuelgram?

Fuelgram was a company with a unique growth strategy. They employed something called engagement exchange.

“Wait, what?” was my first reaction as well.

It sounds confusing, but it’s really not.

In a nutshell, it’s a growth strategy that gathers large groups of people in one place so they can literally exchange likes, follows, comments, etc., hence the name.

If you’re to believe Fuelgram, they worked exclusively with real people. We’ll see about that.

Not to be a negative nelly – there’s some truth to that claim. Fuelgram’s community did consist of genuine accounts, but they certainly didn’t rise above bot-like activities.

How Fuelgram Works?

The service was an online community of real IG users.

If you wanted to be a part of it, you had to register with an email and a password.

You could say it was an exclusive community since you had to meet specific criteria to join.

Once you joined, you were added to a group based on two things: the number of followers and niche.

Accounts with a similar following size and from the same niche would belong to the same group. The idea was for everyone within a group to grow at the same rate.

Naturally, they charged (quite steeply, might I add) for this type of engagement.

How To Use Fuelgram?

These were the steps you had to follow to use Fuelgram:

  • Register with email and password
  • Connect your Instagram account
  • Find a group from your niche with the same following size
  • Apply for membership
  • Wait to be approved (or not)
  • Adjust the settings
  • Wait for Fuelgram to start running

To get approved, you had to have a certain number of followers and engagement rates.

Some would say it was a hassle trying to use Fuelgram, but I disagree.

This kind of approval method where they don’t accept everyone made me think of Fuelgram as a company with strict rules that created and maintained a high-quality user base, which I always appreciate.

Features Of Fuelgram

We can’t discuss a service without mentioning its key features. This is what Fuelgram offered in its golden time.

Auto-Rounds

Rounds were time slots during which you were supposed to post to receive engagement. You could use three rounds each day.

During those rounds, people would like your posts, but you had to return the favor in their rounds.

It was an excellent way to gain real likes, but it was done manually, despite being called auto-rounds.

So, yeah, it was kind of a hassle.

Powerlikes

Albeit powerful, this feature had its issues.

Powerlikes were bought per post, and Fuelgram used other accounts from their network to like other people’s posts.

This was a brilliant strategy, but it had a catch.

The tool would use your account to like posts 24/7, which led Instagram to believe you were a bot and ban you. This is one of the negative consequences I mentioned at the beginning.

Fuelgram’s grand solution was for everyone to connect another IG profile that would only give likes without receiving them.

Surprise, surprise – this created a countereffect.

Fuelgram ended up loaded with accounts with no followers or engagements, which led to the detriment of the quality of service.

Engagement Groups

This was Fuelgram’s best feature.

They organized groups of people from the same niche, and if you passed the evaluation, you could join a community where you’d exchange real engagement.

Best of all – Instagram couldn’t mistake you for a bot.

Group members made arrangements on Telegram to avoid raising suspicion.

Pricing Of Fuelgram

Auto-rounds were paid for monthly, while the Powerlikes were purchased per post.

The final price depended on the number of rounds and likes you bought.

Prices for auto-rounds went from 1.25 euros up to hundreds of euros. Powerlikes for a single post cost 11 euros, and you could buy up to 99 at once.

Overall, I can’t say Fuelgram was an affordable service. Plus, it didn’t have a free trial, so you had to pay right away.

Is Fuelgram Safe, Legit, Or A Scam?

None of the reviews I found online say that Fuelgram did something shady or unsafe (well, except when they made you look like a bot), so there’s really no reason to think Fuelgram wasn’t legit – at least no known reason

The company is suspiciously quiet about the reason for shutting down.

I guess we’ll never know.

Fuelgram: Should You Use It Or Not?

If it still existed, my answer would be – sure, why not. Give it a try. If you don’t mind overpaying. And the possibility of getting banned for excessive bot activity.

But Fuelgram doesn’t work anymore, so it’s a moot point.

One thing’s sure, though – Fuelgram wasn’t terrible. It had a few great ideas that brought you real engagement.

But it’s a thing of the past now, and why, we’ll never know.

What we do know is that the best way to Instagram stardom is organic growth.
