Well, not exactly. Mass Planner does not work anymore – at least not in its original form. There has been some evidence that it has rebranded now.

Intrigued?

What Is Mass Planner?

Mass Planner’s official website in 2020

Or better yet – What was Mass Planner?

I haven’t managed to try out Mass Planner while it was still working, but there’s plenty of evidence on the Internet to retrace how it worked.

Who knows, maybe it will be up again in the future, and by reading about its features, you’ll know what to expect!

Before we get to that, here’s one interesting piece of information that I managed to find: it seems that Mass Planner shut down and rebranded to Jarvee.

There are numerous similarities between the two tools, and they offer support for the same social media platforms. It seems that Jarvee is a more successful project of the two, though, considering it still works.

But Mass Planner was not bad, either. It just stumbled upon some hurdles that were too difficult to tackle.

Does MassPlanner Still Work?

Did MassPlanner shut down? Yes.

When you go to their official website, you’ll notice multiple “Nothing to see” banners, and all that is left are its initials – MP – at the top of the page.

The website is also not secure anymore, which means they’ll need to obtain appropriate licenses and secure their payment gateway if they want to get it running again.

But for now, it remains dead.

And why did it shut down?

Well, most probably because it was a little bit too aggressive as a bot. I don’t know for sure whether this violation happened on Instagram because Mass Planner was used across a number of platforms, but it seems so.

It was canceled around the same time when some other IG growth bots and tools, such as Instagress, were suspended by Instagram and Facebook.

Mass Planner Features

Here is what Mass Planner offered back in the day:

Automated Actions

Mass Planner performed actions on behalf of their customers to achieve social media growth.

Here is what it used on Instagram:

  • Follow and unfollow
  • Like
  • Comment
  • Repost
  • Delete post

Instagram is acting aggressively on accounts that are using bots, so there was the possibility that automation could get your actions blocked, or – in the worst case – your account suspended.

Based on Mass Planner reviews on Trustpilot, this was not the case with Mass Planner too often. But its services deteriorated as Instagram stepped up efforts to identify and remove bots.

That’s a bit unfortunate, as Mass Planner had quite a developed system to make the whole automation look natural. I guess they were just unlucky.

Namely, there were run timers that allowed you to manually set and postpone automated actions so that Mass Planner stayed under the radar. Also, you could set limits for the number of accounts you wanted the tool to follow.

You could also use the sleep mode, which worked as an auto-pause.

With all of this, I’m pretty sure that other users didn’t realize you were using a bot.

Alas, it all went to waste because Instagram did find out.

User Targeting

Mass Planner used well-known strategies to target your audience. You could set parameters like hashtags and keywords, and it would efficiently find the right accounts.

Other Platforms

Mass Planner also offered services for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Does this ring a bell about a popular tool?

Yeah, Jarvee – most probably a new version of Mass Planner – does it too.

Besides Instagram, people mostly used Mass Planner for Facebook and Twitter.

It targeted groups on Facebook that are relevant to your niche and automatically joined them. Facebook comments were also decent.

On Twitter, you could automate basic actions – e.g., follow, unfollow, retweet, favorite, mention, etc.

Pricing Packages of Mass Planner

A screenshot of where Mass Planner’s pricing used to be

As you can see, what used to be the pricing section of Mass Planner is now empty.

Based on what I could find, though, Mass Planner was leaning towards the budget-friendly side of the Instagram growth tools.

The Standard package that offered all of the features mentioned above was billed at $19 a month. You could use it on 10 different social media accounts.

They also had some packages that were outrageously expensive – like the one that cost $99.97 per month – but also, it was for 500 accounts. I cannot think of someone who’d need that much, not even a company.

Mass Planner – Is It Legit Or A Scam?

Well, Mass Planner probably was legit before, but not anymore.

Now their website is not secure, and you cannot use the tool.

Mass Planner Review: Final Thoughts

I kinda feel sorry for the whole Mass Planner project. It wasn’t the worst bot out there; I’ve tried some that were much worse.

That said, it does seem that it interacted with fake accounts, so I guess it’s fair. I believe that, in the near future, all those bots that put your account at risk will disappear. Well, at least I hope so.

In the meantime, worry not – there’s more than one Mass Planner alternative that you will benefit from.
